We are thrilled to officially announce a landmark partnership between Gould Farm and the Robert S. Cox Special Collections & University Archives Research Center (SCUA) of the UMass Amherst Libraries. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in our longstanding effort to preserve and share the history and legacy of Gould Farm with a broader audience.

Mark Alan Murray, a longtime Residential Advisor and Recovery Coach at Gould Farm, has released a powerful new work titled Of Nod: A Poetic Memoir. Written in a voice that is both personal and daring, the book explores Mark’s journey through addiction, schizophrenia, and healing with raw vulnerability and lyrical beauty.

In a season often associated with renewal, May 2025 arrives with added gravity. It’s Mental Health Month—a time we’ve long acknowledged at Gould Farm with resources, conversations, and quiet encouragement. But this year, the moment feels more urgent.
