Kim Blank (they/them)
Clinician
Kim grew up in upstate New York and earned an undergraduate degree in Philosophy and Environmental Studies in Vermont, where studying philosophy sparked a passion for applied ethics and social work. After living in New Orleans, Kim moved to New Hampshire to complete a Master’s in Social Work (MSW).
Before, during, and after grad school, Kim worked at a residential therapeutic farm as the Assistant Garden Manager. In this role, Kim led therapeutic gardening groups and partnered with residents on daily farm tasks. Kim later transitioned into community health as a Health Worker and Education & Outreach Specialist, providing sexual health education across schools, clinics, and non-profits, and collaborating with a Nurse Practitioner to develop informed consent counseling for gender-affirming care.
To deepen their clinical expertise, Kim became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and worked in an inpatient psychiatric hospital supporting children, adolescents, and adults in crisis. Driven by a desire to provide individual therapy within a holistic model, Kim then joined a community mental health center working in Family and Adolescent Services. Kim relocated to Massachusetts in the summer of 2025 and is thrilled to join the Gould Farm community.
At their core, Kim aims to care for and repair our world so that all beings can thrive—a commitment that encompasses our bodies, relationships, systems, and natural environment. Kim was drawn to Gould Farm because of its deep attentiveness to individual and systemic needs, as well as its strong grounding in human rights and social justice.
Outside of work, Kim stays busy playing roller derby (skating as "Rage Bradbury, #451" since 2015, most recently with Boston Roller Derby), crocheting, and hiking toward their goal of completing New Hampshire's 48 4,000-footers. Kim lives with their loving partner, their dog Otis, and their cat Kobe.
