Fellside is a transitional program that provides both residential and non-residential services in Medford and the Boston area through community, meaningful work, and clinical care. Volunteer RA’s at Fellside support residents in acquiring life skills that will help them transition towards independent living. Working alongside residents, volunteers contribute their strengths to the Fellside community through cooking, arts and crafts, music, yoga, fitness, gardening, individual support and more.  Volunteers are supported and supervised by the Clinical/Program Director of the Boston Area Programs. Volunteers are asked to commit to a one year, full-time term of service, which includes overnights, and some holidays. Volunteers promote the values and spirit of Gould Farm, actively participate as members of the community at meals and other gatherings; maintain open and honest communications with staff members; and promote the safety and well-being of all community members.
