Lisa Youngling Howard, MD (she/her)

Lisa has been a member of the Clinical Team at Gould Farm since 2017. She received her degree from Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City and then completed her psychiatry residency at Cambridge Health Alliance/Harvard Medical School and a psychotherapy fellowship at Harvard University Health Services. Since completing her training, Lisa has worked in a variety of treatment settings. She was the Director of the Partial Hospital and Intensive Outpatient Programs at Cambridge Health Alliance, then worked in private practice for many years before resuming her career in college mental health as a staff psychiatrist at Bennington College and Wellesley College. She is currently the Director of Psychiatry and Associate Director of Counseling Services at Smith College. Lisa has been Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology since 1997. Lisa enjoys working as a member of the Clinical Team and appreciates the collaborative model of care at Gould Farm. She feels inspired by her work at the Farm and the impact that our community treatment model makes in the lives of our guests.
