Volunteer Positions

Gould Farm provides challenging opportunities for volunteers and student interns from around the world. Mature individuals with experience in any of a variety of disciplines are encouraged to apply. Our internships are ideal for students who desire quality work experiences before applying for graduate school or starting lifetime careers. Others choose to serve Gould Farm through religious organizations or secular volunteer agencies.
Greenhouse Work Volunteer commitments are usually 9-12 months in length. All positions are live-in and full-time (40 hours/week.) Applicants must be eligible to work in the USA; non-US residents must have the proper visa, or a "Green Card", or be an American or a dual citizen.Volunteers are provided housing, food, a stipend, and supervision under a senior staff member. Recent graduates are generally able to defer student loans through volunteer work at Gould Farm.
Applications for volunteer positions are accepted year-round for 10-12 rotating positions. Greatest need for volunteers occurs in May and September.

Salaried

Salaried Positions

Gould Farm hires salaried staff on a periodic basis. Salaried positions are filled by experienced individuals from a variety of backgrounds including farming, cooking and social work. Salaried staff members and their families are expected to make long-term commitments to the work and lifestyle of the Farm.

Outdoor Work

Salaried positions are all live-in and full-time. In addition to wages, salaried staff members receive housing, food, benefits, and supervision. Applicants must be eligible to work in the USA; non-US residents must have the proper visa, or a "Green Card", or be an American or a dual citizen.
