Dining

The Kitchen Team plans the meals and, to the extent possible, uses produce from the Farm’s gardens, livestock and dairy barn. Meals are creative and nutritional and often involve recipes that guests bring from home and learn to prepare for the community.

A “one-of-a-kind” napkin ring is tagged with the name of each new guest and placed on one of the dinner tables as part of the place setting at the three family style dinners each week (other meals are buffet). The napkin ring welcomes individuals to dinner and makes it possible for them to sit at different tables each mealtime so they can develop comfortable connections to other guests and the staff.
