Gould Farm

COMMUNITY SUPPORTED AGRICULTURE

In 1998 Gould Farm launched an experimental project in Community Supported Agriculture (CSA). This alternative relationship of mutual support gives our neighbors and friends the opportunity to join us in the greenhouse and gardens each spring and to share in the wealth of harvest each summer.
Seedlings By paying a fixed fee, CSA members share in both the risks and the benefits of locally grown food. This arrangement creates work training opportunities for out Guests while providing and economical and nutritional food source to our neighbors. The goal of our CSA is much more than carrots, corn and cabbage; it is the development of an extended family and a healthier community.

The Farm will not be participating in the CSA project for the year 2001, due to other commitments, but we do plan to reactivate the plan for future years.
